As the husband takes a packed lunch to work each day and I’m constantly rushing around on the go, we always have snack bars in our shopping trolley each week. However, despite so many brands and options being available, it can be difficult to find ones that meet my criteria for a healthy snack.

Some give the appearance of being healthy, but when you pay close attention to the ingredients list they can be full of sugar and added nasties. And unfortunately the healthy options can sometimes be just plain boring when it comes to flavours!

We’ve often bought nut bars in the past, but I’m so excited that Nice & Natural have brought out a new range of healthier Protein Nut Bars.

Nice & Natural Protein Nut Bars with 3 Superseeds have just 5g of added sugar per bar (I always aim for less than 10g of sugar when it comes to snack bars), are packed with fibre and are 25 per cent protein to help satisfy cravings while helping repair and rebuild muscles if you’ve been hitting the gym.

With a base of chia, pumpkin and sunflower seeds combined with other delicious ingredients, these nut bars come in three varieties so delish you won’t believe they are healthy and free from added artificial colours or flavours:

  • Cranberry, Goji Berry & Quinoa
  • Salted Caramel
  • Dark Chocolate & Cacao

Great for family lunchbox fillers and easy to keep a few on hand in the car glovebox, work desk or handbag for those emergency situations (a good idea if you often find yourself buying chocolate bars or chips when you’re looking for an energy hit while out and about!).
